"When my husband and I decided to get a Keeshond puppy I scoured the Internet looking for a reputable breeder and settled on Clingmey Keeshonden. There were so many positive aspects as to how Cyndi bred and cared for her dogs.
She was a nurse, she had Keeshonds for decades so had familiarity with the breed, and best of all she ran a very small kennel which indicated she wasn’t overbreeding. The first puppy we got was the last one of the litter and
we loved her so much that we decided to get her a brother. We found Cyndi’s home to be immaculate, the puppies were well cared for, loved, socialized, potty trained before going home, and the business side was very professional.
It was clear Cyndi wanted to make sure her puppies went to good homes and would live wonderful lives. The story didn’t end there either. Many of her clients, myself included, have become part of the Keeshond family and are
in contact via Facebook which is a great way for Cyndi to keep in touch with everyone as well as see the joy brought into people’s lives by having one of her puppies. I would highly recommend Clingmey Keeshonden to anyone
considering adding a Keeshond puppy to their family."

"My wife and I first met Cyndi in December 2016 after we contacted her about getting a Keeshond puppy. We waited about 9 months for a puppy to be available. We went to her house when the litter was about five weeks old to choose a puppy. We were first asked to remove our shoes and wash our hands before we could interact with the pups. I was impressed that the litter was whelped and raised in the house. All the puppies were typical roly-poly and happy balls of fur. The house was clean as were the pups. We returned in early January to pick up our chosen puppy, Zaan. He has been a great dog and has earned his Rally Advanced, and Beginner Novice Obedience titles as well as his Canine Good Citizen, and Trick Dog Novice titles.
In 2019 we decided to add to our pack and immediately contacted Cyndi about another dog, She asked if we would be interested in a show dog. We agreed to that and headed down to Cyndi’s place to meet our new little girl (Tori). Since our last trip, Cyndi had added a puppy room in the house, Very nice, clean, and had a grooming area and tile floor for easy cleaning. It was large enough for the puppies to run around and play. Again all of the puppies were healthy happy and playful little balls of fur. Tori has gone on to earn her Grand Champion title, Canine Good Citizen, Rally Intermediate, Beginner Novice Obedience, and Trick Dog Novice titles.
In all our dealings with Cyndi, we never felt that there was an excess number of dogs or that the dogs were neglected, abused, or mistreated in any way. The house was always clean and the puppies well cared for. If we decide to get another puppy we would go back to Cyndi."

"I have followed Cyndi’s breeding practices for over 13 years. Her dogs were always impeccably clean and well bred. Last year I finally had the privilege of buying a puppy from her. As she does not fly her puppies to new owners which
can cause trauma to a puppy, I drove from WV to NJ to get my dog. We were greeted in a clean, puppy safe livingroom and met my boy. We also met the parents and they were in excellent condition. Cyndi has kept in touch with me daily
about his progress. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to a prospective owner. The parents are health tested and people know they are getting a quality puppy from her. "

"I have known Cyndi for probably eight years now and consider her my friend. She takes a lot of pride and joy and what she does with this breed. Her home is immaculate and the puppies are so well loved and taken care of. The puppy I purchased last year from her was so outgoing loving and a complete goof.
I highly recommend her for someone that’s looking for a Keeshond pup."

"We recently purchased a pure-bred Keeshond from "Clingmey Keeshonden" in April of 2024; this was the second Keeshond we have purchased from Cyndi.
We couldn't be more satisfied with the whole process from our initial contact with Cyndi along with the constant communication and updates we received. She's very knowledgeable about the breed and always available with any questions or concerns that we have about our puppy.
We purchased a female Keeshond in August of 2010 and she was a wonderful dog, was no trouble to train and lived a full and healthy 13 years. In 2010 the process was such a pleasurable experience, not only did we get to meet the puppy and her Mom but we were able to see the other Keeshonds in Cyndi's home. All her dogs were very well cared for and her home was very clean; you could tell she really cared about the breed and was passionate about being a very respectable breeder.
When our girl passed the rainbow bridge in 2023, we couldn't imagine not having another Keeshond in our home and we were hoping that Cyndi was still a breeder. Cyndi was the first and only Keeshond breeder we reached out to and we were thrilled that she was still a breeder since our first experience was so positive. We were prepared to be on a long wait list but we knew it would be worth it to get a puppy from her as a breeder based on all the positives from our first time.
We were able to purchase a male Keeshond from Cyndi this past April and as before the experience has been wonderful. Cyndi provided constant feedback on the puppies with pictures, videos, and social media updates. When we came to her home to pick up our puppy, we got to meet a few of her other Keeshonds as well as the other puppies. Cyndi's home was clean and all of her dogs were happy, extremely friendly, well-groomed, clean, and well taken care of, including puppies and adults.
Cyndi continues to be available with any questions or concerns we have with regards to our new puppy. Anyone looking for a Keeshond, I would highly recommend her, due to her compassion and utmost care for this breed, it's absolutely genuine.
Thank you, Cyndi"

"Cyndi is an incredible human being. Yes she is a breeder but cares so much. She loves all her puppies and keeps her breeding to a minimum. Her home is clean and is not overloaded with dogs. Once you get a pup from her you are part of her family for life. My Coyote is 7 and we will forever be grateful to her for our pup. We are blessed to have found her. We love our boy so much!"

"I will never forget puppy pick up day when my Killian was able to come home with me. I had fallen in love with Killian's mother as a puppy but it was just not the right time and Cyndi made it clear that this puppy was staying with her. So, I put myself on her waiting list. As Cyndi would never breed a dog without thorough and extensive health testing, I waited for three long years. Finally, my dream day had come. Jossa's little boy puppy was coming home! When I arrived to pick him up, I was greeted by a bundle of happy fluffy puppies. I also had a chance to meet all of Cyndi's other adult dogs. It was a love fest of happy, wagging, immaculately groomed dogs living in a home where all their needs were clearly met as the cherished companions they are. Since that day, Cyndi has always been available to me when I had any
questions or concerns and has responded within minutes. I cannot recommend her enough. I have felt like Killian and I have become a part of her extended family!"

"I recommend Cyndi and her dogs to anyone looking for a keeshond. She takes excellent care of all of her dogs, and genuinely cares about their well-being and about raising dogs that are a credit to the breed. When we picked up our puppy Orna in December of 2021, she and her littermates were in excellent condition and thoroughly health-tested. Cyndi's home was clean and the conditions the dogs were kept in were well maintained. We played with all of the pups in the litter and Orna's mother Tootsie, as well, and every one of the dogs was happy and well cared for."
"We got our very first Keeshond back in 2004 from another breeder rather than Cyndi, only because we’d never crossed paths yet. Thanks to Facebook and a group on there called Keeshond Club, that is where we first came across Cyndi and her wonderful dogs. We’d see photos and posts of her litters of puppies that her and her “puppy people” would post and would always comment how beautiful and healthy her puppies/dogs always looked. Cyndi would also share posts when she’d take her dogs to shows to compete and win in various levels of AKC competitions. My mom would often say, “if we ever get another Keeshond, I want a Cyndi Meyers one.” It was simply because she shared everything about her dogs and the love of the breed that you knew deep in your heart “this lady actually gives a damn.” We lost our first Keeshond in 2016 and immediately contacted Cyndi to see when her next litters would be because we were anxious to add another Keeshond to our lives ASAP. She sent us the info right away along with other literature to read to educate ourselves on why it’s good to wait for the right puppy rather than settle for a lesser quality dog just to get a dog faster. Meaning, she cares so much for the breed standard she doesn’t want people getting poor quality dogs quicker by settling for Keeshonden from pet shops, back yard breeders, etc. We had to wait 9 months from when we lost our Chloe until we got our little sweetie Kayla, but it was worth the wait. It gave us time to chat with Cyndi, get to know her, ask tons of questions which she ALWAYS answers promptly. When we finally got to meet her in person on the puppy play date, she makes you feel like a good friend you’ve known for years. Then we got to meet all of her other Keeshonden, and they make you feel as welcome as she does! That same attitude gets passed on to her puppies in the sense that whenever someone comes to our home, our puppy welcomes our guests in as part of our family. We also noticed on our visit all of the ribbons and awards her and her dogs have won through the years. You don’t win awards like that for having mediocre dogs or a mediocre attitude toward the breed. She cares so much about all of her extended puppy families that she tells you when you register the dogs microchip she wants her name to be put on as a contact as well in case something happens she wants to make sure she gets her dogs back, so they get the proper care and love they deserve. We are going to enter our puppy into AKC Rally competitions with Cyndi’s encouragement and she said whenever there is a competition she plans to come and cheer our dog on. We are so lucky to have crossed paths with Cyndi and feel so blessed to say we have a Clingmey Keeshond."

"If you are looking for a wonderful breeder to add a keeshond to your family, look no further. Over the process of waiting to get our hands on one of her precious puppies I was able to get to know Cyndi. She is a straight shooter! I respect her honesty and forthright. She’s a genuine person with integrity who truly loves the breed. She is knowledgeable and will readily answer your questions.
Cyndi takes the health of her dogs seriously. Not only the physical with all the extensive genetic health testing but also the emotional aspect. You can tell Cyndi puts all into her dogs which carries over when she does breed her beautiful keeshonden. When there is a litter you can see how much those puppies grow to love her. We greatly enjoyed seeing pictures and videos of the puppies through her face book page. I would watch them over and over again to see their progress and watch their personalities shine. What fun! At the puppy play date I felt I already knew each puppy.
Cyndi will provide you with an organized binder with the paperwork on the parents AKC pedigree, genetic testing’s and the health record on your puppy. My veterinarian was happy to look through the binder. Quoting my vet, “This is a very thorough breeder, I’m extremely impressed”.
The puppy we received is full of personality. He also is a very fast learner. By 10 weeks Crusher learned all his basic commands. We were astonished at how fast he was learning and retaining them. At 13 weeks one command was put to the test. I was walking him on 20 acres when he caught a scent and in a split second took off so fast it pulled the leash out of my gloved hand. Wow can he run!! I started to panic as I ran after him which caused him to run faster - he loves the game of chase we play in the house. I got a hold of myself, stopped and did the recall. He rushed back towards me as fast as he could. What a smart puppy!! No more slippery gloves for me! He certainly does have exuberance for life. He’s also very funny, sweet, and what a beautiful appearance. He is gorgeous. People melt whenever they see him. He is perfect in every way. I would definitely buy another happy, healthy, quality keeshond puppy from Cyndi again!

"Hi Cyndi... I am actually taking Mattisse to the vet today as my vet was on vacation and I wanted to go to him. He is the vet for the Seeing Eye School of the Blind in Morristown. He, his wife and daughter help with breeding and training the service dogs there and has been a big part of helping find a breeder. Yes he has been on your site and gave a huge thumbs up to you. There are other vets in the practice that I like, but it is important for him to be the first vet to see Mattisse. I know he will LOVE him... even if he barks. So sorry I didn't go within 72 hours. I also know I owe you some pictures... I definitely will sent them soon.
It is an understatement to say that Mattisse roared into our hearts! He is getting better with his demanding barking... he realized that even if he barked, stomped his foot and fell to the ground, he could only get his way when he is quiet. It is difficult for Kurt and I to not give in to him as he is so cute. Mattisse has learned to sit and walk on a leash and come to his name. He is really smart, and so alert. He plays with Jax and they are becoming great friends... brothers. Mattisse has learned that Jax is too fast for him, so he runs close to the tree so Jax will be near there, then hides under the tree until Jax comes back around... and then Mattisse jumps him.
Mattisse still doesn't like his crate, but we will continue to work on it. Well that isn't correct... Mattisse loves his crate when it's open, but as soon as he hears the zipper, he freaks. He goes into the crate and leaves one foot out so that you can't zip it up... it is so cute. I had work on Monday and had to put him in the crate, (and Jax at Puppy Patch because he is afraid of Mattisse's bark), and he survived. I do have to admit that I got a sub for my last class because I felt so bad to leave him. I don't think he is afraid any longer, just stubborn!!!
I am so amazed that Mattisse is such a mellow, quiet dog. He really has been good, and easy. He takes things as they come, and doesn't really stress about it. My trainer came by (unannounced because she was in the area and had to see Mattisse) and felt that Mattisse is the perfect medical alert dog. Of course she completely fell in love with him. He is such a character.
Thank you again for allowing me to have Mattisse, our family is whole with him. He brings us so much joy, and truly is loved. "

"In July 2014 we said goodbye to our Jayden (male Keeshond) of 14 years. My husband and I were at a loss and had to communicate this sad news to our 11 year old son. Our son, having Autism and minimal language had one buddy; his true companion was his Kees. He had no understanding of loss.
After speaking to him, we knew we had to have a puppy! A Kees of course!! We had been researching reputable breeders and found Clingmey Keeshond. Their website was full of education and made us very comfortable with moving forward.
We immediately contacted Cyndi. She answered the most insane questions that we had. We completed all the necessary paper work and waited. We were set on a female this time and she was expecting a litter in the Fall. Once we were confirmed and had our number, the wait began. It seemed like forever! Cyndi communicated shared photos and updates and still answered questions we had.
From July-October seemed like an eternity. Our son so very sad and our home was so peaceful (and no dog hair). Cyndi was aware of our future new addition would be living in a special needs home and we needed a calming personality. She really took the time to understand our needs within our home.
Finally, we received notice that IT’S A GIRL! Orange dog was the newest member of our family. “Grandma Cyndi” shared photos and updates until our pick up day.
My husband and I drove down and pulling up, I will never forget the Kees mailbox and the furry faces looking out the window. Meeting Cyndi, I felt like she was family. Hugs exchanged and I looked around to all the Kees in the home….it was heaven. Beautiful fuzz butts and the yapping! She brought us to meet our new addition and handed us our sweet Tenely!
We came home and placed her in a Christmas gift bag. With a letter from Santa, our Son was given the best Christmas blessing ever!
Tenley has adjusted. She is happy, playful and loves to steal shoes. She has added life back into our home and her personality is adorable!
Cyndi will forever be family and we look forward to growing ours with another Clingmey Keeshond!"

"Thank you Cyndi for this wonderful new member to our family. Ryder has a loving personality and playful attitude that draws attention no matter where he goes.
After we lost our first Keeshond to pancreatius, my wife and I were devastated. Although we knew we couldn't replace him we needed to find a Keeshond to fill that empty place. We started a search to
find a reputable breeder that fully health tested their Keesonden before breeding; one who was confident enough in their line to show at national events and achieve champion status.
We found your web page, www.keeshondpups.com and saw photos of your beautiful dogs; saw the health testing certificates and the many awards your Keeshonded had won, we knew we had found our pup.
Ryder is everything we could ever want. He is intelligent, affectionate, playful as well as great looking as you can see him at six months of age.
Thank you again."

"Hello! My name is Mindy Songer and my husband's name is Aaron Songer. I meet Cyndi Myers on Facebook in the Keeshond Club in 2014. Cyndi and I kept in contact during the tlme our first beautiful and handsome Keeshond Bandit became very sick. Cyndi was most kind to keep me and my husband informed about upcoming breeding and which beautiful Keeshond of hers she was going to be breed. This conversation went on around March or April 2014. I was hoping that Bandit would be physically able to meet his new brother. Unfortunately, Bandit went to the Rainbow Bridge on June Il, 2014 we informed Cyndi of our loss. Cyndi told me and my husband that she was going to breed Kami in July 2014. I was so excited because our dogs are mine and my husband's children. Cyndi kept us informed when Kami went into heat. Cyndi Meyers kept me informed though the whole process. She answered questions no matter what type of question it was.
On October I, 2014 Cyndi's Keeshond Kami delivered our handsome and beautiful boy Phantom. l, my husband and Midori (Shiba Inu) drove to New Jersey on December 1, 2014 to pick Phantom up. Phantom got to meet his new sister Midori who is a Shiba Inu. Phantom has brought joy into both my husband's and my life after losing our beloved Keeshond Bandit. Phantom landed in Durham, North Carolina on December 2, 2014. Phantom has attended obedience class at the Durham Kennet Club. Phantom is a very happy little boy and loves to play at the dog park. He Is my teddy bear, little man in stars, and my buggy. My husband and I are so happy to have him in our family. Thank you Cyndi Meyers!"

"We met Cyndi when we began to search for a Keeshond after the death of our beloved keeshond mix. We were smitten with the breed. We were so impressed with Cyndi's website and her commitment to reputable breeding. She did not have any available puppies at the time so we continued to correspond thru email. During that time we came to know Cyndi as an honest, loving, caring individual whose dogs were not a hobby or livelihood but her Life! Cyndi is also completely committed to the health of her dogs. So when a female puppy was available we were willing to drive from Austin Tx to New Jersey to pick her up!! Button is the sweetest natured puppy who made the drive home a joyful pleasure. Very content to sleep in my lap through ten states. She already knew her name thanks to Cyndi and comes running when called. She has been with us a few days and already learning to sit. Any puppy you adopt from Cyndi is smothered in love. Cyndi sent me a video of her puppy Willow learning the stairs and when Button heard Cyndi's voice on the video her ears perked and she went looking for Cyndi, the voice she new that has loved her all these weeks, it was so sweet. Average people do not realize or appreciate the hard work, dedication, sacrifice that is required of a breeder who truly loves and cares about dogs. If you are searching for a Keeshond Breeder, Cyndi is the Best. Our Sweet Button and all the Blankenships think so."

"I wanted to send you an enormous thank you for giving us our Harley. He is absolutely perfect and has the most precious face anyone ever saw. He's so smart too! We've almost mastered "Sit", "Lay Down", and "Stay" already. Everyone has been commenting on how unbelievably friendly and sweet his temperament is as well. He loves to be snuggled and he greets everyone with lots of kisses and a big Keeshond smile. Harley was a huge hit at the Vet's, and I swear the room froze once he strutted through the door. Everyone simply had to pet him and they all commented on how sweet and lovable he is. There were even people coming out from the back rooms just to see our little Harley. His doctor said that he was one of the most well behaved puppies to ever come through and she gave him a special treat for being so good.
He's almost completely outdoor potty trained and we've just begun crate training. Loud noises don't bother him at all, in fact, he gets excited and wants to see what's going on! I've attached some pictures for you to see, as he's easily become our little baby. He follows us around all day and loves to be a member of the family. I am so happy we chose you to get our Keeshond puppy from, he really is everything we could have hoped for and more.
Thank you so much!"

"Raiden is just amazing! He's a bundle of furry energy. Poor little guy just got nuetered a couple weeks ago, and even that didn't slow him down! Here's some pics of his last snow day (last month), he loved it. Makes me sad we had a warm winter. I'll get you some more once my fiance comes home with his laptop. These are my favorites so I keep them as this computer's desk top background! He's been absolutely wonderful, Cyndi. Thank you so much! "

"Things with little girl have been going great. Kamble is probably one of the smartest pups I've ever owned. She makes great eye contact and you can really see those wheels turning when we do a short training session. As I emailed you earlier she already sits and shakes. We now have laydown (down) nailed as well. I'm "attempting" short (very short lol!) sessions of teaching her - stay. With all her energy its proving to be pretty tricky. I figure a little bit at a time lol. We're just about house trained - I'm keeping her on a routine and she's doing quite well. I gotta say this is a very smart pup....even my Vet said he was impressed with her and that she would be a great dog. He noticed the eye contact and how attentive she is as well.
Ill send a few pictures over after this note. Its hard to take a photo of her as she's so dark in certain angles. She is lightening up and her markings are just incredible!!"

"Just wanted to write you a short note to thank you again for this wonderful addition to our family. Our Kayla is perfect, she slept through the night from day one, readily accepted the crate, (thanks to you showing them all the crate and starting her in it for us). She is not bothered by storms or any loud nosies. She came to us readily when we called her name (again another thanks for teaching her kayla is her name). We could not be happier with her, her health is excellent, the vet actually commented on the paperwork you supplied for him. She is such a smart puppy.
We took your advice and started obedience training and will more than likely go into Agility as she likes to jump off of the couch and can run faster that light. We came to you first and decided to go with you after meeting other breeders and are so glad we came back to you. When the time comes for a 2nd addition we will be calling."

"Raiden is doing so well! When we get a chance to pick up a usb cable I'll send you some pics of him in his new home. We've been so busy taking care of the puppy. He is such a joy. He's already learning to go to the door when he needs out, accepts his crate readily, and comes when called (most of the time!). So far his favorite activity is running around gathering all his toys into a big pile on his bed. It's so funny to watch him try to carry them all at once. So far, his record is three at one time- he stuck his nose through the hole in his puppy chew ring, grabbed a goose by its beak, and his hedgehog by its foot, then tripped over them four times before getting them all to his bed. It was hysterical!
His antics are so much fun. They've already caused him two baths, though. I know you shouldn't bath a puppy frequently, but he was just a mess. I gave him a Kong with frozen treat mush in it, thinking he'd chew it as melted. Instead, he let it melt, then upturned it on himself and rolled about in it. He thought it was great fun. Mommy wasn't too sure... but couldn't help but laugh. He was good for his bath, in fact I think he'll really like water when he grows up. He's fascinated with the shower- he likes to stick his head in a lick at the spray.
He's good for pretty much everything. The vet said he was fantastic when I took him in for his exam. They did a quick health check (he's in perfect health- and gained a pound!), and said he was amazingly well behaved. Every time he goes out everyone says he's the cutest puppy they've ever seen. Thank you so much for such a blessing."

"Sorry its been so long since I sent you some pictures these were taken today hope you enjoy them. He is such a joy to have and he's so funny to watch most of the time he is so playful and just does the funniest things. He best game now is basketball he just love playing with basketballs and every time I get the camera he follow's me in the house so I can't get any video but I am going to take the camera out next time were out back and try to get some video. He is such a joy still loves being brushed and we brush him a lot in this weather its every other day."

"I am writing to thank you for giving us the smartest, prettiest, happiest, friendliest, cutest, most loving Keeshound baby from your most recent litter.
We are so happy with her. She is the talk of the neighborhood. Everyone is so touched by her beauty and her intellect and her good nature.
Katie is "potty" trained already and is quite perturbed if we don't take her outside as soon as she sits by the door. She is ruling the roost here now.
I am not real computer savvy so bear with me. I will try to add a few photos to this e-mail. We are having a ball!"

"Words do not express the great joy that Chiara brings me. After tragically loosing my beloved Keeshond Noel, along with my parent's and brother's Keeshonds two years ago, I was very skeptical about getting another dog. It was a fluke that I found you online near Christmas time. And I'm so glad I did.
I'm happy to report Chiara is now 22.5lbs, and healthy as can be. According to her Vet, she is also the smartest puppy he's ever met. He was so excited to hear that she gives high fives, he had to run through all of her tricks!
Since day one, I have had no accidents in the house. Not one. No piddling or anything. I haven't even used a wee wee pad. When its time for her to go out, she goes right to the door and sits. Or she'll come to me and tug my hand towards her leash. She has also slept through the entire night, since I brought her home. She loves snow, and even more, loves water.
She has mastered the following tricks, Sit, Down, high five, play dead, roll over, crawl, and of course come. She walks like a Princess when on her leash, and struts around the yard and on our street. She has the sweetest temperament as well, and when anyone comes in to meet her, she is all love.
Thank you for providing this wonderful addition in my life."

"I met Cyndi Clingerman approximately one year ago. My family’s owned three Keeshonds in the past, and we were looking to add another one to our household. Cyndi’s been breeding Keeshonds since 1982 and was highly recommended to us.
Cyndi is an extremely professional and ethical breeder. She guarantees the health of all her puppies. All her adult Keeshonds are PHPT (Primary Hyperparathyroidism) tested and all are negative, meaning her puppies will not carry the gene that causes PHPT.
When I met Cyndi for the first time, I was impressed by her warm and caring personality and how much she truly loves her dogs. She does a wonderful job of socializing the pups and exposing them to different sounds to better prepare them for the environment around them. Cyndi allows prospective owners to visit and select their puppy at 5 weeks old. My family and I had reserved a female puppy, but when we went to Cyndi’s house to visit our baby girl, we ended up selecting a male puppy as well!
Jasper and Joey are now almost a year old. They are such wonderful, intelligent dogs and we love them dearly. I would highly recommend Cyndi to anyone who is considering adding a Keeshond puppy to their household "
